RSA Conference – where the world talks security
RSA Conference is one of the world’s largest conferences dedicated to security and information sharing, and there are ongoing events throughout the week to entice you in.
At Surevine, we’ve put together our top 10 events not to miss at #RSAC 2015, so you don’t miss out!
1. RSA Welcome Reception, North & South Expo – Monday 5-7pm
The big kick off to RSA Conference 2015 with a chance to preview the hundreds of leading information security vendors in both the North and South Expos, with drinks and hors d’oeuvres to keep you going. This event is ticketed.
2. South Expo Pub crawl – Wednesday 5-6pm
Take a walk around the South Expo hall and discover who is exhibiting at RSA Conference this year. There are over 400 sponsors and exhibitors, with many offering complimentary beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, and an opportunity to uncover new innovative technologies.
3. RSAC Codebreakers bash – Thursday 6:30-10:30pm
Indulge yourself with decadent food, drinks and live entertainment at this not-to- be-missed party, held at the Masonic Center. Be prepared to hit the dance floor for a night you are not soon to forget!
4. Intercede reception – Wednesday 6-8pm
Intercede are hosting an evening reception at 55 Parc Wyndham and invite you to join them to talk US/UK cyber security business opportunities over drinks and canapés.
5. British Cheer with beer – Tuesday 4-5pm
Come and see what the UK has to offer. This British themed event will showcase the very best of small UK tech and cyber companies, represented by UK Trade and Investment. Enjoy a cold beer whilst you do. And in conjunction with British Cheer with Beer, Surevine are hosting a BoF briefing on the cybersecurity executive order!
6. Rapid7 RSA party – Wednesday 9pm-2am

7. Dinner for 6 – Tuesday & Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
On Tuesday and Wednesday, sign up for a non-hosted dinner at selected restaurants, as a single diner or with a group of friends. Space is limited so be sure to sign up on-site at the Conference Concierge desk in advance and obtain a confirmation slip to attend.
8. NetWars @ The Sandbox– Tuesday & Wednesday 4:30-7:00pm
SANS NetWars is a suite of hands-on, interactive learning scenarios that enable information security professionals to develop and master the real-world, in-depth skills they need to excel in their field. Participants learn in a cyber range while working through various challenge levels with a focus on mastering skills that information security professionals can use in their jobs every day. Stop by and watch as selected challengers compete against their peers.
9. RSAC Innovation Sandbox Contest – Monday
The annual Innovation Sandbox Contest is dedicated to encouraging out-of-the-box ideas and the exploration of new technologies that have the potential to transform the information security industry. The 2015 event marks 10 years since the event launched at RSA Conference 2005 as Innovation Station. Past winners include Sourcefire, Imperva, and RedOwl Analytics.
Each of this year’s finalists will demonstrate its technology to conference attendees, as well as a judging panel. The finalists will also deliver a short presentation to the judges who will determine the “Most Innovative Company at RSA Conference 2015”.
10. Beer Camp @ The Sandbox – Tuesday 4:30-7:00pm
The 1st Annual RSAC Beer Camp led by Sierra Nevada. A limited number of tickets may be available at North and West registration at the Moscone Center. The Beer Camp experience will be lead by a personal guide from the local California brewery Sierra Nevada, and includes tastings from the following beer styles – Rye IPA, Belgina, Amber Ale, Bock, Barley Wine style Ale and a dark brew.
